DMC has managed NE Youth’s media for the last four years. Although the charity is over 80 years old it didn’t stand out, they needed to have a light shone on all the incredible work they do with young people.
Right from the start DMC knew they needed to get the brand out there – Dee tapped into one of her many contacts and secured a pro bono outdoor campaign with Clear Channel, across the North East – almost every bus stop you went past had their posters on them.
The pandemic has been hard for all charities, in 2021 NE Youth were celebrating their 85th anniversary, DMC secured over £200k of media across the year including broadcast, print, and online. The media coverage culminated at the end of the year with NE Youth’s annual Projects with Pride awards show which ITV News covered with a live link from the event and a five minute piece all about young people.
